Veneers

Where there is damage to the facial surface of a tooth, or where the tooth shape and position require minor changes, veneers, in either composite resin or porcelain or other ceramic materials, can be made to cover the defect or correct the mal-alignment. As soon as any tooth requires adjustment or preparation, this becomes an irreversible procedure, but there is always significantly less damage to the tooth when preparing for a veneer, than for a full crown preparation.
